The French Designers Alliance (AFD) is the largest multi-disciplinary professional organization of designers in France. AFD promotes and defends professional designers’ practices in France and in Europe.

Main issues are: professional code of ethics, design fees, sustainable design, bids to tender legal framework, intellectual property, designers’ rights and duties…

The AFD contributes to legal and social design policies as a partner for government bodies in France and in Europe. The AFD cooperates with other design professional organizations over Europe and worldwide.
